Puerto Rico's Product Association awarded Holsum's Whole Wheat White
Bread with Calcium with the distinguished "2007 Award for Quality and
Excellence". José Luis Ponce, President of the Association, presented
the award to Consuelo Abriles, Marketing Director of Holsum of PR.
"In developing this product, we sought to satisfy a growing need
in our society for healthy, great tasting bread and we found it!"
expressed Abriles. "We are very excited to be providing the nutritional
values of the whole wheat bread with a color and texture that is
attractive for both, children and adults seeking a healthier lifestyle.
In addition, this bread is a great source of calcium, which makes it a
superb alternative for everyone in the family,"added Abriles.
Since 1958, Holsum has been deeply committed to providing the
Puerto Rican family with delicious and nutritious products. The new
Whole Wheat White Bread is the most recent result of these continuous
efforts. "The Health Department Recommends" program has also included
this new product in its listings.
"The Whole Wheat White bread has surpassed all our
expectations, rapidly becoming the second most consumed whole wheat
bread in Puerto Rico, following the Holsum Whole Wheat Bread,"
concluded Abriles.

produces more than 100 products including breads, biscuits, cakes,
cookies and crackers.
